:werd: gt4 was great though, I hope this one is the same.
i hope it's better. and it will be. remember the difference between gt3 and gt4? graphics were similar, but the feel of the cars was incredibly enhanced in gt4

I never got to play any of the gt series. :(
it's almost as fun as driving a real car, especially when you play in a car seat, with the force feedback steering wheel and pedals. the new wheel's turning range is one lock short of a real car.

At least I can "drive" cars I will never be able to have though. I love Gran Turismo but too many problems in it have gone unchanged since GT1. Lots of room for improvement but Polyphony doesn't seem to care in making a better game which ticks me off.

So you're gonna rant about problems the game has........but not mention any of them?

Sounds like you have no idea what ur talking about.....and that GT is one of the best interactive games EVER.

the reason why is looks like gt4 still, is cuz your watching a demo of what gt5 will represent. Its still the same game engine in the demo. VisionGT is suppose to get a new graphic engine when it releases.

Blah blah blah, I don't feel like ranting on about them so that means I have no idea what I am talking about? Eat me...

Ok fine... major problems... No antialiasing, no ansiotropic filters, only 5 opponents max, lousy lousy LOUSY AI, odd adhesion limit on acceleration, problems with unbalanced races (ai is often too easy or too hard with crazy fast cars compaired to the rest of the field), vague tuning options (too simple)... I could go on... Its a great game but too many problems have stayed the same since GT1 and it ticks me off that Polyphony isn't striving to make a better game. 650+ cars means less to me than addressing these problems.
