Allright, here is the full write up I promised..... (Sorry for the three posts, just turned out that way.....)
6sic6- You like those G35 headlights dontcha.... Like most of your chops this one turned out real nice..... You could have used some more massaging on some of the parts, but you already know that..... Are the side skirts and front lip airbrushed?..... If so, excellent job.... They are seamless with the rest of the body.... I still have a long way to go with airbrushing, sadly.....
Hatched05- I really like your idea, I have done something like that myself...... However you didnt do much to the car.... As far as I can tell all you did was lower it and maybe change the wheels.... And like hix said, it seams like you are trying to cover somethign up..... And one thing that irks me about your pic is that it looks like you have no front passenger wheel..... Otherwise, great concept and the dust turned out nicely, jsut do more to the car next time.....
itsmycookie- Hmmmm.... You didnt really do much to the car, which is fine..... We all have to start somewhere..... However the only way you are going to expand your skills is to try new and harder things.... The drop is clean, you did a good job shaving the handles, however the changed blinkers and side markers are a little messy.... LIke I said, next time just try some new stuff, its the only way to get better....
Machinehead115- Not bad, not bad at all.... I think you are developing the skills to start going more drastic with your chops.... You CF hood turned out great, but the wing is a little messy..... The wheels look great, and the drop is nice.... But other then that, you didnt really do much..... I think you are definitely ready to try more.....
Rand0m-Well its good to see you joining into the fray, but DAMN thats a bright color.... You did a pretty good job with the front bumper, although I can tell you had to skew the STI panel a little bit to make it fit.... Most of the parts you added came out nicely.... The graphics arent too bad, but next time make the graphics layer a little transparent, or airbrush some lights and shadows, to get the right look on it.... The wheels are good, but the back is a little off.... Otherwise, you did a pretty good job for not doing this for too long...... Right?......
Rubixcu7- Well..... Hmmm.... I think you need to spend a little more time on your chops.... Everything is really messy, except for the wheels..... You forgot to cut out the hood vent, the side markers and the taillight on your red overlayer.... The civic front bumper could have been nice, if it was done right.... Sorry if I am being a little harsh, but I want you to grow..... The biggest thing I can say for you is to not be afraid to use the blur tool to clean up some of your lines.... I would rather see a very clean minimal chop, then a really messy chop with a lot of stuff done to it....
Ryoslide- You know I respect your work, you are one of the best choppers here, but what is up with this.... Its such a low resolution the only conclusion I can come to is that you had a lot of mistakes.... Its still a nice chop, but its hard to critique this when I can barely see the thing.....
Myself- I am VERY happy with this chop.... I think it came out really mean looking, and pretty clean.... I realize I messed up a few things, and there are a few things to work on, but I am happy with my skills.... But I need to critique this beast harsher then anyone else will..... Here is what I did, or most of it anyways..... Converted to a coupe, shortened roof line, converted headlights, got rid of roof scoop, dropped, rotated body for a more equal wheel gap, airbrushed side skirt, changed vent thingy on front bumper, intercooler, BOV, CF hood, mirror turn signal, brakes in the wheels, removed spoiler, and window tint..... I know my wheels are a little off, that is something I need to work on, along with my airbrushing.... The headlights didnt turn out how I wanted the too, but I still like them.... The conversion to a coupe gets a little messy at some points, but I still think it looks good.... The shortened roof is a very subtle touch that actually goes a long way in completing the look.... Like I said I'm not happy with my wheel job, and I'm also not happy with the "eyeline" over the headlight...... Well, I'll leave the judging to the rest of you though, everyone is partial to their own work.....
Anfrey- Everyone loves your little penny racers.... This one didnt come out as well as some of the others I have seen, but you probably got the squishing down to a science now that you have done it so much....
Wow, this was a lot of writing.... If you don't read it all no hard feelings, it is really for the individual artists to know what they should work on.... Hopefully I get a good amount of votes this time though.....
