hey guys just want to find out some info for my friend. he just got a 1999 civic Si..and is thinkin about getting a vtec controller. is that the same as an APEXi afc?...i was also wondering how it hooks up? im pretty sure it hooks up to the ecu, but not positive. so if you could help out, that would be great. thanks

an AFC is an Air Fuel Controller. If you do want an APEX'i, you'd want A V-AFC. It stands for VTEC-Air Fuel Controller. Yes, it does connect to your ecu. Your ecu is in the kick pannel in your passenger footwell. It comes with a wire diagram, but I would probably have someone more knowedgable than you hook it up. Good luck
