hi was up guyz well i was up on the site and i saw something about the vetc light well i made me one and i hooked it up to my vtec silenoid and i soldered the wire to gather and then did my grounds and everything but when i let the car warm and everything the i took it for a drive and the light came on for i little sec like something was wrong then i check the led it was blown the i got another led then hook it up the light did not come on at all then i check it it was blown again. then i got a new led and hook it up it did not work again i check the led and it was working fine. I DON'T KNOW What is going on is vtec working or what. i don't want to hook it up to my ecu be cause too many wire i also have a 97 honda civic ex

It's something to do with your wiring, not your VTEC

make sure it got enuff ground.. and make sure all ur connections are good..

yes you can buy a led with a resistor they sell them at radio shack also otherwise this is what you need Package of 330 OHM resistors Part# 271-1113

if not you will burn the led everytime

its worth doing.. alot of people that know i have it say ohh that Gay but its like a Safety feature..

it's only worth doing caused it cost about 3 bucks, but really it doesn't do much. some say they will do it for the fact a sohc vtec you can barley tell your in vtec. but i mean you do it for yourself more than anything else. could be any number of excuse right
