vtec question

ok i got a jdm d15b block with a d16y8 vtec head in my 98 civic... that means a obd2... the head is obd1....right now i got a p06 ecu running it... not chipped or converted to vtec.. so this is my question... if i swap it out for a p28 ecu that does control vtec that is obd1 what if any wiring am i going to have to do... since i already have the p06 do i have to worry about the o2 sensor or is it just plug in and play.... i have no check engine light or anything and i have no o2 sensors on the header and i have a test pipe so no o2 sensor there... thank you for looking and if you know what i have to do let me know

you would have to purchase a obd1 stepdown harness in order to use a obd1 p28 ECU 2nd o2 sensor well be disabled..

ok so even right now with the obd1 p06 in and it not throwing any codes im still going to have to get the step down harness??? how hard is it to put it on... like i said i dont have any sensors hooked up to my header or test pipe
