Hey guys. Just finished doing my V Tec tachometer light change. Now when i hit 5500 rpm and the V tech kicks in my tachometer lights change from Blue to Red. I didn't like the idea of having a little light somewhere that you wouldn't really notice. anyways im putting up a video on youtube tonight when it gets dark so you can see it. If you want to know how just pm me and i can tell you, its really easy.

I don't even understand the point of a Vtec light... sounds lame. I can just listen to it kick in and know that it's engaged.

in the d16y8 you cant here it that well since it doesn't give that much more power, the most you can tell is by a very fait whine. also i wanted to know exactly at what rpm it was kicking in at.

i have a 4cly 98 ex. so it really doesn't do much. my engine is stock too so it only puts out 129hp at 6000 rpm. i think it gives it a 20-25hp boots, at least thats what i have read. not sure about modified engines and what not.

Write up a How-To here for all of us. I'm interested in seeing how it was done.

I had a vtec light for when mine kicked in. It was good to know if Vtec was working or not, especially after doing a mini-me and swapping in a vtec head.

This is pretty sweet, I like the idea. Looks good too :thumbs up
