Hi all. Im looking to buy a 92 vx and the seller is telling me the engine stamp says d15z1 but sends me a picture of under the hood and the stamp just says Honda(on the head. see pic). I was under the impression that all vx models had the vtec-e stamp on the engine. The seller says the car is stock and not all vx had the vtec-e stamp. I couldnt find any info on the net regarding this so im hoping some veterans in here can fill me in. Is what hes saying true? Secondly assuming the head was replaced would that affect anything? Thanks in advance!
