VX Redline

On a stock VX hatch what is the redline supposed to be at. I've read somewhere on the specs of the car that the redline is 7200 but on my gauge it says 6000....so what is the actual redline?

7200 is for the ex motor. 6000 sounds right for the vx motor.

7400 on the z6 homesprocket.....

6300 on the z1

Ex or SI is 6600rpm
Dx is 5900rpm
VX is 5500rpm
CX is 5000 rpm

6300 on the z1

7400 is the fuel cutoff, 7200 is the redline.
