yea well i've been wanting to get rid of them for a while but I couldnt see spending the money until my recent run in with the local law enforcement so I opted for more of an oem look.

BEFORE

AFTER

Now I just need to save some more cash to replace the rear bumper. And most of my body mods are done till I graduate college. Next step brake upgrade.

No they are not but the cops thought they were along with my tint which isnt either. I never really liked them (I was a stupid teenager when I bought them, and now I'm a stupid 21 year old) I've been trying to save to buy the tail lights I currently have. But when I got back into modifying my car it was function before form and whenever I had some cash to spend, I would think, " Well I do need new bushings, or my suspension is real bouncy, or my tires are getting bald." You see where this is going.

nice writeup btw on the grill
but rice came about when someone over came the rice altezza stage. I don't think it would be possible for OEM styling to be rice. Maybe a fad, but never rice, therefore stock cars everywhere would be rice. who knows, with what's next anything could put oem to shame.

about the tails, ever since I bought my sedan almost 3 years ago, I always loved the Si tails, but when my mom backed into me "cheap new body parts" was the phrase of choice. This was before I knew much about imports and forums so I just got what I found on ebay and was cheap.

To me the these tail lights look much better than factory I'm not doing it because its a fad. I'm just not a fan of the amber in the oem sedan tails its just not as appealing to the eye.

Oh thanks for the link to the DIY headlights. My pass. headlight has a crack in it so I think I'll replace em and test the DIY on the broken one.

Maybe I'll fight the trend and go back to the old rice as it seems you have.

I am one of the folks who prefer the OEM look. That's because I don't consider those real change but slight adaptation. Altezzas are not considered street-legal in Germany unless they have an E-Number which is like the SAE/DOT Number in the US. Anyhow, I think that was a change for the better and the bumper should be the next thing. Wouldn't it be a good alternative to start checking out junkyards for a used black bumper? They only cost about 50 EUR here (if you are lucky enough to find one). New they are like 300 EUR factory painted.

Looks nice now brav - Like chartinael said you could look at a junky for a second hand bumper... sell your bumper to some stupid teenager as am sure someone will snap it up.
