Hey guys
I've been running a turbo y8 at 9psi for about 6 months now on stock exhaust and a street tune. Before my next tune after I open the exhaust up I plan to get a walbro 255 fuel pump. Now, I've searched and searched and read the flow charts on the high pressure and low pressure versions of the pump. However I can't seem to make up my mind. I have the stock fuel rail and FPR and did not want to buy a pump that would mes with my stock fuel pressure and need adjusting or anything, so any input from you guys would be appreciated.

Edit: I'm going nuts here! I've been reading countless threads on turbod16 and honda-tech and some people say it will mess with my stock fuel pressure and others say it won't. Just give me your experiences with whatever pump you have. I'm gonna put a call into my tuner and ask him as well.

Thanks in advance everyone!

ive heard that the return isnt big enough so it over fuels or something like that. drilling it out with a x sized drill bit solves this. look through theoldone im sure they have something on it.

i JUST searched.. literally..

being boosted or not is irrelevant... because the car will need to be tuned.. depending on things like injectors.. your results may be totally different.. in fact i would ONLY run that pump on an aftermarket FPR like the AEM one..

the 405hp Vitara sedan ran a 255 in tank with stock fpr. never had an issue
im willing to bet that you were dumping a lot of fuel into the motor.. with different injectors.. it COULD work.. my point is who knows.. if you get the aem FPR.. i KNOW he will not have an issue..
