i had just got my turbo kit for b-series and its a turbonetic and i was just wondering if its a good idea to turbo my ITR motor? i have alot of people telling me just to go all motor because why would i put a good and nice motor to waste. can anyone that know and have good experiance with turbo or knows about turbo give me some good feedback? its a Turbonetic 50 Trim. and how much PSI could i push with my turbo?

it wouldnt be a waste if you have it tuned correctly. A turbo b series is a killer car. I think you will be just fine if you have all the parts needed and tune it aferwards and have all your gauges to read your pressure. good luck. You already have the turbo it would be a waste not to use it.
were are you located? i know a great place for installation in pa nextlevelracing.org they are the best around here.

People are afraid to do things to motors that they have no experience with. You can turbo a high compression motor just as easily as a low compression setup.

The benefits to the high compression is that you will still have the torque generated from higher compression on the low side and it will require less boost to generate more power. Is there a trade off, yes of course there is. Heat!!!! High compression and pressurized air create a lot of heat so proper tuning is an absolute must.

I am preparing a new build setup soon on a high compression LS/VTEC turbo build and I will let you know how it turns out, 1 word. Beast.

I would at least settle for some kind of engine management that is comparable to the Hondata S200. Personally I have the Hondata S300 for my application because tuning on the fly and live data is a must for me. However Chrome, Uberdata, ect will work just fine you just have to remove the ROM everytime you want to make changes and reburn it. So you will require the Moates Burn2
