i have a 97 coupe wit a 95 jdm gsr motor. i want to turbo it and my friend has his stock turbo and side intercooler from his dsm. i was wondering if that is a good turbo for my car and also wat other dsm parts can i put on my car.

that turbo is a little small. it will come on quick, but it will exceed its efficiency around 6,000 rpms.

well, what kind of turbo are we looking at or for what car exactly? what are your goals? do you know much about turbocharging your car? if not, there is a lot to it, it's not just: bolt turbo on, then connect pipes from turbo to intake mani.
you'll probably want to check this forum out: homemadeturbo.com
the site name says it all.....

you could use the dsm injectors and bov and maybe the smic if you insist, but the turbo i would leave out, its pretty small for a gsr

precision turbo sc32 thats a good turbo for a mild build. or stock configuration. i learned my lesson from not building my block. so dont do the same. build the engine first then turbo and tune and you will be happy. i had a sc 32 550cc injectors b.o.v. inlinepro hard pipes and manifold uberdata ecu and tuned and only running 6lbs of boost. and it still poped.
