yes canada sells sir's but they are not the b16 powered ones you are thinking of. In canada ex's are si's and si's are sir's. Basically an sir in canada would be equavilent to a d16z6 powered si hatch here in the states.

secondly, having a real sir in california would be compeltly f**king pointless because there is pretty much no way you could register it, and it is a b***h to drive a rhd car on our roads ... people drive on the wrong side of the road in other countries for a reason.

im guessing you are refering to the EG6 since you are questioning it being legal. you are gonna have to import it b/c its not a us or canadian car. and if you happen to find a company that will import, spread the news b/c ive been searching for bout half a year for a company that will bring one here, and have had no luck yet (made contact with about 10 japanese companies, and all refused to ship to the US) the closest contact so far agreed to ship to jamaica, then i would have to find a way to get it here, but i dont want a middle man.

why would you even waste money importing one ... just swap a b18c1 into your hatch and do some suspension work and it will probably end up costing the same and you will have a car that both outhandles and outperforms a "genuine sir"

well i wanted the coupe sir. Sorry guys but i dont prefer the looks of the hatchback. Even though they are light but i love my dx coupe and would like a sir coupe. ebay was selling and sir but its a hatch and its goin for 8000 and reserve not met yet. But the sir is a different kind of civic that basically no one has. So that is main reason i wanted to get it. But whatever. I still like my dx

i refer to my 94 coupe as an SiR because of the motor, but it's not even close to real.....

Just do what I did....go to Auto zone and pick up the SIr badge. It's only like 5 bucks and everyone thinks i have a real one

What is your major malfunction? Stop posting. You're not accomplishing anything except making yourself look dumb.

i'm with 4thengine on this one, nobody is gonna think it's a real SIR, and whoever does are just dumbasses. the only civic that has a stock SIR sticker on it is the ones that melt is talking about (the canadian ones) and we all know that that's not a real SIR. the closest thing you can get to a SIR is the jdm motor. and you didn't list wut kinda stuff you have for your car so i'm guessing since you have v-tec (if that's even true) that you have a stock civic ex. and with that kinda speed, they won't even believe that it's an SI for crying out loud.

But importing one you would get all the interior too. Unless you get those CX's with leather seating. I never knew CX's came with leather seats until one of my friends bought one with them.

Prolly vinal seats, no Civic comes with leather. best seats a Civic would come with is Recaro.
