Want to do a Air Box mod suggestions?

I want to cut the PVC pipe that sucks air into the air filter box, i want to cut it lower so it can breath in more air and cooler air, heres some pics to demonstrate

what do you think? thanks!

That pipe is part of the resonator. Just take the whole resonator out and put in your own PVC pipe that drops down a little bit. You may want to be careful on rainy days since water would be splashing up underneath the car and more than likely up the pipe since air would be getting pulled up.

cutting the pipe there would only pull in hot air from the engine bay, not the smartest

Uhh. stock engine, no real need to get 'cooler air' . For $30 just get a new filter. K&N.

route some piping from the throttle body to the grill. You'll get the best air right at the girll. Top grill or lower grill. I would do it at the top grill.

The last mod I ever did to my CRVTEC, before I went turbo, was replace the cone filter setup with the stock airbox
