Wastegate dumptube question??

im currently running with an open wastegate with no dump tube, and i want to put one on. im just wondering what i will get out of it other than not having carbon in the engine bay. im going to just have it go right down to the ground.

I've heard as much as 5 hp just because of the difference in under-hood temperatures, but I find that hard to believe. But basically benefits are: cooler engine temps, and cleaner engine bay.

i ran open w/g for almost 2 years, finally i had a dumptube fabed up about a month ago. no more dirty engine bay yay! as for underhood temps.. i dont think it made much of a difference cuz im very rarely at full boost

ya you wont gain anything....just make the bay look nicer lol
