wat is different between B16A 1st generation and 2nd generation?

wat is different between B16A 1ST GENERATTION DOHC 1.6L VTEC and B16A 2ND GENERATION DOHC 1.6L VTEC?

Dont take me for sure, im dead tired and trying to think, but i believe its the fact that one is OBD-1, and the 2nd gen is OBD-2, which meens it uses a knock sensor, and the rear O2 sensor, those are the biggest differences.

obd0- 88-91- 1st gen - 160hp
obd1- 92-95 - 2nd gen - 160hp
obd2- 96-00 - 2nd gen - 170hp

go ODB1/1st gen. WAY WAY easier to tune. And make sure you get teh LSD y0!

I have heard that they had alot of problems with the 1st gen engines. Could be wrong!

yes they would both me obd1

i believe they r running of different cams and pistons.

gen1&2 160ps 10.2:1 comp ratio
gen 3 170ps 10.4:1 comp ratio
