water leaking...?

so last night i picked up my girls brother and i never have anyone in the back seat but he was probably the first ever lol and when he sat down he said his butt was getting wet and felt like he was sitting in like a half inch of water... i peeled the seat up and there's water underneath it and both the trunk back seat and the front passenger and both sides of the rear floor are soaked?? i checked the floors and there solid so the waters not coming up from the ground, im completely lost to where this waters leaking from and how its getting in the places it is?? if anyone had this problem or any thing id love the feedback!!!!

is your car a hatch? if it is it's probably coming from the glass hatch i got this problem before what i did is get new weatherstrip and it stopped the water from coming inside the cabin

its a coupe so im not positive where it could be coming from i never realized it but being up north we got rain for 3 straight days and now being the 2nd day of good weather i realize it so have no clue of where its coming from.

maybe your quarter panels? or sunroof?

dx so it has no sunroof and the quarter panels are strong no rust rot or ne thing...... so confused lol

Pull the rear seat and dry everything. Then spray a hose on the car rear exterior to see where the water is getting in.

alight ill have to do that tomrorow since my car needs a washing anyways ill have my girl sit in there and watch for leaks!

i also have a dx sedan that leaks badly ,found two leaks in trunk one was where the air vent is on the drivers sine and the was a spot of rust over the passengers rear tire,i removed the rear seat and the carpet found water behind the rubber mats on the firewall they are soaked,i was wondering if anyone knows where the drain for the cowling is and how to acess it to clean it out

both of my rear taillights leak nd my trunk fills up nd when i step on the brakes the water goes in to my back seat that could be it
