Water Leaks in Civic

Water is leaking into the interior of my 2006 Honda Civic LX. It has been soaking the floor carpets, mostly behind the driver’s seat. I’ve taken it to the service department at two different Honda dealers. They’ve taken seats out, floor carpeting, cleaned the drains and water tested it. It continues to leak. I don’t have a garage, so I park the car outside. Has this happened to anyone? Any ideas of how to fix this?

Thanks,

Jim in Seattle

I'm assuming you paid for the services the dealers provided you with? If that's the case I would take it back and tell them that they didn't do the job right, and you still have the problem.

I would also try to search around 8th gen forums to see if anyone has the same problem, maybe it's a model specific problem and there's an easy fix for it or something.

Thanks, Kensai

I have an appointment with one of the dealers tomorrow. So we'll see what they do. I will look into the 8th gen forums. Thanks for your suggestions.

I have a similar problem but its on a 2001 civic. I have a leak on the drivers side, I have tried to patch the leak but no success yet.
