ok previously i posted that my car tail lights fuse blows and thus no back lights indicating that my headlights are on, ive recently found out i get water in my boot (nown as truck in usa), could water maybe touching the bulb holder or wires cause the fuse to blow coz thats the only reasonable explanation i have now?

If the water is making the positive cable come in contact with anything that grounds it then yeah, that's blowing your fuse. But, if it's not provoking any groundage it might not be it.

It might also be touching another cable that needs electricity thus making it light up, and exceeding the amperage rating on your fuse, making it blow.

Check the connections out, it's not too hard.

make sure the gaskets are fine. take a hose and spray your trunk and see if water gets in anywhere..
