So this is wut I have!!! LOOK BELOW
ALPINE CDE-9843

PIONEER GM-X372

10" AudioBahn 300Watts RMS 600Watts Peak

The Amp Is bridgable {+]Left [-]Right!!

So my problem is when I connect the AMP and SUB wit my sisters deck which is 45x5 it bumps how a sub should bump...NICE CLEAN LOUD!! Well Perfect Loud, Not to Loud!! Than when I got the new Alpine deck connected everything and its hella weak...Bumps just as hard as the regular speakers so I thought the SUB wasn't working but when i listen closely it is!!!! I thought I connected it wrong and did a double check and everything was right!! When I mean weak I mean weak, thats how it sounded wit the ALPINE in my car!! WHATS WRONG? The Alpine Has sub control but the subcontrol cant even control!! when I up the regular bass the freakin sub goes up on bass and so does the regular speakers...and all are at the same sound level no matter how high i turn it!! HELppppppp??

it sounds like your wiring is messed up or the settings on the deck are wrong.

you should have 3 sets of rca outputs on the deck, make sure that your rca's are plugged into the correct outputs

:what: Can you clear up ur last post a little?? What I got from it is when you turn the deck off and disconnect the amp your speakers stop working.

k, assuming that you're highs are running from deck power and the amp is running the sub only, you say that if you disconnect the amp the deck speakers quit working? I'd suggest that you have a ground problem with the deck.....and possibly the amp as well. I'm still lost though.

are the subs moving but very very softly?

if so it is the settings, you should take it to a shop and try and get them to fix the problem

check the db setting on ur deck for the sub.. there should also be a seperate volume adjuster for the sub.. the external on/off feature is only use if u have all ur speakers running from the rca.

no the deck is on...the settings have a control where u can turn off the built in amp...but when i turn the built in amp off all the speakers go out...the built in amp inside the deck!

check the manual to see if there is a setting to switch the rca rear to sub.. since u only have 4 rca .. one pair is front speakers and other one pair is switchable rear speaker/subs. ur sub might be running as a rear speaker considering what u said in the first post.
