Weather Stripping??

does anybody know of a place where i can buy weather stripping (besides honda) for my car. Its the rubber strip that goes across your door on the outside, right underneath of your window. b/c ive been looking, trying to find some websites but no luck. any info would be greatly appreciated, thanx

any body shop can get them as well, they have to remove them when they paint a car correctly and sometimes they get all f**kered up. Try them if no other luck.

My friend jacked up his weather stripping in his Blazer and found some pretty good pieces at the local junkyard.

i need to replace mines also, anyone know the part #? i wouldnt buy anything from local dealers, they charge a grip. i rather buy from sites that sells oem honda parts which are about half the price of the dealer.

yeah.. the Honda near my house told me $50 for each side

you can find them at junk yards for $5-$10 usually for both sides. why put brand new moldings on a used car... it will just look funny. your car will have 10 or so years of wear on it but you'll have brand new molding that will stick out and look like your car has been wrecked and they slapped on new parts.

molding? check the topic. buying weather strips at a junk yard would probably be worser then now because they have been sitting in the sun and probably all cracked up.

they have parts for 6gen civics? around here in N cali, most of the junkyards dont have none or very few 6gen civics, the one that has them, i rather buy parts brand new.

the one down the road for my work is a chain of 7 all over the state. if they dont have the part they can always locate it for us and have it there either same day or next. and havent got a bad part from them in 2 years.

damn, your lucky then. here in N cali, its hard to find a good junk yard with 6gen civics. i just called honda, they are asking $67 for each side and it needs to be special ordered. i think the guy gave me the wrong part # cause i tried to look it up online, i cant find it.
