What's weleding?

Depending on the kit, you don't have to weld the downpipe to the exhaust. The GReddy kit is a full bolt-on, for example.

Oh, and not to be a d**k .... but .... you need help. You need profesional help, not the help of people on ClubCivic or Honda-Tech. You obviously know very little about forced induction, let alone the physics and basic mechanics of engines. You also seem to know barely anything about working on cars. This is not a bad thing. There was a point in time where I was a complete and total incompetant. But I was not turboing my car at that point. My sugguestion to you is to buy a complete turbo kit and have it installed and tuned by someone other than yourself. Either that, or wait, and learn, and gain experience.
