This thread is going to produce such opiniative answers..
I, personally, would got for a 3-channel amp.. Ch 1, 2 running the 6.5 drivers, ch.3 running the subs. Let the head unit power the 6x9s, as the sensitivity is quite high on them, and rear speakers "should" serve as rear fill, i.e. low power, barely noticable...
Or a strong 4 channel, using 1/2 for fronts, and bridge 3/4 together, for the subs.
What impedence are the subs, as that make a significant difference as to what avenue you choose..
4ohm + 4ohm (parallel) = 2ohm
4ohm + 4ohm (series) = 8ohm.
4ohm + 8ohm (parallel) = 3.67ohm

yadda yadda yadda..

Ported enclosures = BOOM
Sealed enclosures = TIGHT
What box design are you after? 1st order? 2nd? 4th? 5th? etc..

End result all depends on your desired outcome.

see now you confused me... i was just looking for some model #'s so i can look up the amps. I am going to go with a sealed box with the 10's to conserve space in my coupe because i have to lug around baseball s**t. But i have to install this s**t and i have no idea what to do so i was looking for model #'s so i can figure out what i have to buy and what not for funds. i have $1400 roughly.

Go for rockford fosgate. Best amps for any subs. Except sony. Then it's a matter of how long till the vioce coil goes through your trunk.

With you deciding to go with all alpine I would suggest the alpine 1005 on your type r subs. And make sure you get the subs in dual two ohm voice coils. This would be the perfect match up.
Now seeing there isnt many 4 channell amps, if any that can do 1000 rms off the rear chanell the suggestion of qwikxr is pretty much a ridiculous idea.
Now for the rest of the system I would never suggest running the type s 6x9 off the deck. That would make them the weakest point in the system, and the first to distort ruining the quality of the rest of the system.
I would go with the smallest 4 chanell that alpine has to offer.

Those would be tha amps I would say to round off a complete alpine system.

Other that that I would suggest Zapco amps if you have the $$$ to throw at the amps.

Now for the box. Im sure all of that techno babble on the boxes has confused the s**t out of you.
Have a custom sealed box made to fit your car. The type r subs also perform well in a custom made enclosure.

Dude if you need help with any questions shoot me a pm and I will help you out.

You really don't need the 1000w amp for those subs. I was running the 500w amp (old model mrd-m501) with 2 12" type r's and it sounded great.
