im looking to get a new system for my car as of right now im running stock hu and stock components.
- plan on getting a new HU most likely pioneer
- still debating on components probably alpine type s. amp em or leave em ?
- i want a 10" sub thinking alpine type s as well (maybe a type r but dont like the mount depth)
- well whatever amp i can find that gets around the same rms as my sub does.
- i have a power acoustic cap already.
- i can build my own box therefore i can keep it as small in depth as possible
my main concern is the sub and amp. i definitely want only one 10" whats the best bang for my buck? mayb even a strong 8" if i can find one. i dont want ground rumbling bass but clean and if need be hit decently hard. i wanna keep this set up pretty small because i like trunk space haha. im probably only willing to spend $150 on components and possibly $200-$300 on an amp and sub. what are your opinions on what i should get for components sub and amp ?
