What civic should I get for first car?

Okay, so I'm kind of new to the site I have been on here for maybe 2-3 months now. I am looking at civics from 1996-2000. This is going to be my first car. I want one that is Manuel and 2 door and not a hatch. In the future I might do an engine swap because idk if it would be worth it to upgrade a SOHC? Also forced induction which I would be getting help from my brother. I was wondering what would be a good chassis for an engine swap like a B16 or B18 or something that is DOHC. If someone could help me out that would be helpful thanks.

any coupe would be able to have a direct swap to a DOHC so find one in good condition save up and youll be set

A 97 Ex, that way you have power windows, power locks, and a sunroof... You can put a b16 or a GSR into that, good luck bro...

dosent the 96 come with power windows and locks too? i know my 93 does

I dont think so man, but not sure... An HX does come with power everything but doesn't have a sunroof...
