SSAC turbos are alright? Is that what you're trying to get someone to say so you can feel better about buying one?
I've heard that there turbos are better now but you could have found a few threads about that right here. They still say that their manis are s**t but I'm sure you'll hear different from someone that has one.
but of course the cheap f**ks that bought them are going to swing on ssac nuts so they can sayWould I buy one tho? No but that's just me.
I don't think they're bad but I've never had one to tell you the truth. All I can tell you is from what I've heard on the net.lol, i am trying to convince my self to buy one.
i want to spend $2000 on a full kit( ebay kits dont have injectors, fuel pump and hondata).
Of course all eBay turbo kits aren't all SSAC. eBay allows anyone to sell. So if I had a Greddy kit, for example, I could sell it on there. And it's likely that someone else is selling one on there.do you guys know if all the turbo kits on ebay are from ss auto(even the $600 ones).

what? English please...as far as the "you get what you pay for" saying...can anyone explain why xspower has turbokits that cost 1k-2k and what seems to like like higher quality parts?
Because OEM turbo cars dont blast the turbo with 60psi + like a honda will.
My friend Matt (SOHC_Mshue) put a STi (only 34k miles?) turbo on his SOHC setup and the seals were starting to go on him within a week. See most/all turbo OEM cars already have restrictors somewhere inline w/ the feedline.
Ive seen "A LOT" of turbonetics, Garrett & precision turbos take a crap within a month or 2, but no1 posts how horrible they are. The thing is, they all have odd's against them when your pumping over twice the amount of oil pressure needed to operate these turbos. Oil restrictors are very cheap and should be ran with any turbo setup if you ask me, deff. on Ballbearing turbos.
editted my postwhat? English please...
"seems like" are the key words here. ssauto and other knockoff companies put out products that they attempt to make look nice and appear to be quality units. but in reality, they all come from the same Chinese company, with obviously no quality control at all. which is why some people run theirs for several years without an issue, and others dont even make it past initial startup before the turbo takes a s**t. when it comes right down to it, the risk you are taking with these parts is huge. the chances for success are so hit or miss, i would NEVER risk my money on buying one. i work too damn hard for my money, id rather buy something with a good reputation and legit warrantyas far as the "you get what you pay for" saying...can anyone explain why xspower has turbokits that cost 1k-2k and what seems to look like higher quality parts?
