what do you guys think of these compression #s?

i recently got a built b16 motor with low compression pistons eagle rods,ect...i did a compression test and i just wanted to know what you guys think. are the numbers too low or ok?

#1 125psi
#2 147psi
#3 125psi
#4 125psi

i did the test again and this time i put a few drops of oil in each cylinder.
#1 150psi
#2 150psi
#3 150psi
#4 150psi

is that much of a jump ok??

Did you hold the throttle plate wide open when doing the test? The second set of numbers look better, obviosuly. But, since you said its got low compression pistons, the first set isnt that bad. How many miles are on the motor? As long as the lowest and highest numbers are within 25psi (I think its 25psi) of each other, you should be ok.

yea and the motor has around 30k on it. the other thing that worries me is that it smokes on start up.
