what ECU to run with stock b16

i have a jdm b16a with just and intake and exhaust......
i have the stock b16 ecu with it but i also bought a spoon ecu
which do you think i should run at first? the spoon said when installed you should buy cams, exhaust,header,intake, and VTEC controller... i also have a vtec controller
what do u think i shoild do about the spoon ecu i want to run it but i dont want to f**k my motor up
what do you think?

just my opinion but I would try both, not like its hard to swap them out if you dont like the results.

if its a ebay spoon chip or ebay chip, dont

Spoon ecu might run really rich...causing your car to smoke due to not having High Compression. I would stick to the stock b16 ecu for now until you can get the basic I/H/E and Valve train work.

I say run the stock ecu right now.

But for the future, take the spoon ecu to a tuner, have him throw that chip in the garbage. And tune your car with crome or whatever he feels comfy with.

the spoon ecu probably has the fuel maps tuned to those mods. so if you have a stock b16a then use the stock ecu

Your car is going to run crazy rich with the spoon chip. See which one works best and go with that one. Trust me, it won't take long to figure it out.

ebay chips are junk, they just add more fuel. best deal is toy get a chipped ECU tuned to your setup on your setup

im using a chipped p30 obd1 ecu not a ebay chip either haha it was tunned in japan where i bought my motor.
