what els do i need to turbo my stock car

ok if i bought a turbo kit off ebay for a d16y7 block with a d16y8 head what is everything els i need to make sure i do not blow my engine. the block and head are stock

this is what is included in the kit

HONDA CIVIC D-SERIES TURBO MANIFOLD,

TURBO DOWNPIPE, TURBO WASTEGATE,

OIL LINE KIT AND T3/T4 TURBO

if the kit is from ssautochrome dont waste your money....... i'd save your money and buy a reputable turbo kit from a reputable company

Depends on your boost level, what psi are you planning on running.. and/or hp goal?

i want to b running at least 200 whp or as much as possible without blowin the motor. but i don't want to do anything with the internals yet

you are going to need another downpipe that actually fits, you are going to need a wastegate with a diaphragm that isnt cut, and you are going to need a turbo that makes boost before vtec.

in all seriousness though that kit might be appealing for cheap but theres a reason its so cheap. save up some money and get quality components.

you will make 200hp with that and be safe doing it. it comes with EVERYTHING needed.

with the kit you mentioned...you pay what? 600 bux? then you need an intercooler, pipes, management, injectors, and a BOV. but IMO you could do a little more research and build your own kit for alot cheaper and have more reliable parts than the one you mentioned.

yea buddy that stage i i i wheel will get you there at around 6000rpm.

you know its funny. all the turbo kits off ebay use that same turbocharger with the stage 3 wheel...i want one with a stage ONE wheel so i can make power soooner...where do i find that one????
