First off i have a 1999 civic hatchback with a b16a sir1 engine. I don't know why they swapped that old of an engine in there but i cant complain the car was free. Anyways, im tring to get it running as good as possible. I want to know what wiring harness and ecu i need for me to get it running right. So far ive read on one thread that i need a engine harness off of a 92-95 honda civic SOHC VTEC is this correct? Also it said to use the p28 ecu. Would this be the right set up to use to get it running correct? Please help me out.

im not sure on the harness, but if you get a P28 ecu you will have to have it chipped and tuned......a P30 ecu will run a B16 just fine. regardless you will have to run a jumper harness at the ecu as 6th gen civics are OBD2.........heres the wiki info off the B16A SIR 1 which lists its original ECU
