what kind of cams to use?

recently perchased a sohc head. power ration really dose not matter right now but i need
some help on picking out a good cam, valve, spring and rockers. something not to
expecive, good cuality

check out the EXO speed cam, i have heard they are porducing some of the best numbers for SOHC cars. next on the line is the ZEX cam

crower cams are great.ive seen dynos and their power is pretty significant

375 but that is almost cost for stage 2 cam because im special. it gave me a ton of horse, but i have port and polish...tons of head work

You would probably want a camshaft made for turbo applications.

is there a cam comparo? i know there are differnt cams for differnt purposes, but hasn't anyone done a street cam setup? and what cams are good for forced induction engines? i just read in a magazine that a guy wouldn't run cams on his sc300 cuz his stock cams responed much better to FI than the street cams he got.

everything i have seen for the SOHC, ZEX and EXOSPEED are the only cams worth a damn.

not true my skunk cam although it be a stage ii it kills the zex and exospeed trust me the skunk 2 is the best
