What kind of speakers should i look for?

I own EG hatchback and i gutted out the rear so i wont be having any 6x9's in the cargo cover now so all im left with r my 2 door speakers...my speakers sound like s**t tho...they some pioneers but i think they prolly some cheap ones cuzz my SI before this had better sounding stock speakers....my deck is good and all i just wanted to know what kind of speakers should i buy for the doors...they r 6 inch speakers...but i dont know jack diddly squat about audio...i just spend all my time on my motor so do any of u guys have knowledge about what would be some good speakers that have good amount of bass in them for just being some 6 inch door speakers...my friend told me rockford fosgate would be probably the best company to go for..is this true?

rockford is really good i have always boughten their subs I wouldnt go with their amps though cause they can blow easily..In my door I have pioneer and there pretty good and in expensive

Get the Kove Audio euro pro series components. You will not be dissappointed they're the best sounding speakers I've ever heard for the price. www.koveaudio.com

Also, you may want to search for kove on eBay. There is always some Kove stuff on there and I find it to be the best. Subs included....

thnx...r these all speakers that will have a good amount of bass for what they are... cuzz these right now seem to have almost no bass...i understand theyre not subs but my SI used to have some factory lookin speakers but they were 30 watts instead of stock 15 but they slapped pretty hard for being door speakers..cuzz im not gonna be putting any other speakers in here or subs i want some that can slap

if you want some good one .. look at massive audio. not a lot of people look at them but they have the bass you might be looking for.. and they get LOUD>>>

$25 for 2 dual speakers...then again i dun really give 2 shyts about my speakers...as long as i can hear the music..since its my car..im good
my window used to give me problems so i used to take my door panel off all the time..in the process i had managed to put a few holes in my stock speaker and i got a 96...and trust me when i tell u the best $25 i ever spent...louder than my stock too...

but if you dont run an amp to them they wount sound to their potential....

I have Pioneer 6-1/2 400wt (think thats the wattage) and they sound really good. Little expensive though.

Worth it... I really jock their equipment. Ive seen several local winners of SQL and SPL run Bahn 69s

i dont think i can put 6x9's in my car doors tho...i dont want to have to drill new mounting holes or anything......my door speakers are 6 or 6 1/2's i think

Oh yeah.... well nothing in your door is going to hit.. so lets make that clear now. Second, still go Audiobahn...

if you want something that will fit perfect in the door, get a set of Alpine Type-s speakers. they come with a bracket to mount perfectly in the honda door.

If you have factory Componennts, go with Alpine sps-171a, if just coaxes, sps-170a.

JBL sound good for the money, even if you haven't got an amp. If any speakers don't dont fit do what I did, make a wooden frame the same shape as the plastic spacer that should be there.
