i was just wondering if i could use a coper strand wire instead of the white strand for power on my amps??? i know it sounds dumb but i just wanna make sure oh ya i have 8 guage wire

350 rms alpine mono amp or can i run with a 10 guage
put the biggest wire it can fit. 8ga is probably it. copper is the common power/ ground wire material, so it wont hurt a thing.

I've currently got a "ground" wire coming off the positive terminal of the battery to the fuse, then "power" wire from there on...so I call personally vouch that it'll work fine.
(I should really take that wire out though and use it for my ground wire since its a 2 gauge)
