i bought 17" gunmetal Velox VX8's from www.wheelsnext.com they arrive on wednesday. i payed like 920 total for rims, tires, and a 3 year warrentee. they claim a price on the website, but you have to pay an extra $60 or so to balance the tires. its still a pretty good price.

Well, if you don't mind spending a lot, get the SSR Competition's. Very strong and Very light. Also, the Volk TE-37's are awesome as well. If price is a concern, which it is with most of us, get the Konig Helium's. They are really strong and lightweight (the 17's weigh 16.8 lbs) and you can get them in silver, gunmetal, white (I think), and gold. Gold being the coolest of course!!!

OZ's are nice, they run about 280 a piece for 17's on www.Tirerack.com They are fairly lightweight too. There are so many options, you have to decide how much you want to spend and go from there. Just an open ended question like this will, obviously, get a vary wide range of responses.

My little prediction, gunmetal rims are going to continue to be hot for the next year, maybe two, but Gold/bronze rims are going to become the real ticket item! Just wait. You can already see them popping up on lots of drift and race cars and in a short while you will begin to see them more and more on the street! I love bronze rims, almost got some but the deal I got on my rims was too good to pass up so I ended up w/silver and a machined lip.
