to change obd2 to obd1? Ilive in NY and it is illegal to convert. Im looking to go to grad school but i also want to turbo my 97 civic, so im wondering what states it is legal to do this.

my state has inspections as well... doesn't mean they'll research into the car.

Why do you need a state that doesn't have inspections? You gonna pick up and move just so you can be obd1?

thats works good. that how we do it in MD. 100 bucks and you got a sticker.

any state that uses an obd 2 scan tool.. which will be more and more as time goes on and technology progresses.. MOST states will opt to use the scan tool because its just so much easier... plug it in.. pass or fail.. then visual inspection obviously..

it's pretty laid back here in VT. The only things they check are tires, seatbelts and lights. As long as your car doesn't make any funny noises and your windshield isn't cracked, you're in and out $14 later... as long as you don't require diagnostics. *heart 92*

he is obd2 from the factory so his inspection rules and yours are not the same

move to kentucky, you can write farm on anything and that basically makes all the big gay trucks street legal, so i think this would be fair for a civic too, why don't you just find one of those places that slaps on a sticker, you are the only person i know that doesn't have a sticker guy
