well first off good luck getting 15-20 psi out of a Z6 and secondly.. if you do accomplish that much boost youre goin to need more than just street tires to hook up

20+psi hooking up on street tires.. wow, keep dreaming kid. on a fwd car, nothing is gonna "hook up" with that kinda boost, merely, full slicks will just keep wheelspin down to manageable levels. 13's with at least 28" slicks will be mandatory to launch. and btw, try making realistic goals..

He didnt mean he would be boosting that much all the time did he?Well if you did man just save the money for the tires for hte motor you will be needing i stand with what i said before though Falkens are good tires.

if you get NEAR 12 psi with a daily driver on a Z6 ill buy it. but until then with tires if you go witha higher boost youll just murder tires so make it a track star instead of a street car....

I didnt know what motor he was talking about till after my second post i scroled up and looked and saw it was a z6.Then changed what i said, i also didnt even think about that he meant to be boosting that on any motor as a daley driven street car cause i didnt think anyone would do that stupid of a thing.

ok calm down every1...first of all i have a 99 ex...which is a y8 but i put a ported z6 head on w/ titanium springs and retainers...w/ a jg engine dynamics camshaft...i have a cometic head gasket w/ all ARP hardware...Je 9:1 pistons w/ eagle H-beam rods and new crank and rod bearings...dsm 450cc injectors...act xtreme pressure plate w/ street disc...when i said 15-20 psi i meant 15-17 on the street then up to 20 on the track (which by the way is a realistic goal, and if u dont believe me, im dynoing it this weekend and ill post up the sheets)...u guys talk like it has never been done before...all i was asking is what are the best street tires

that block isnt sleeved? and how are you tuning it? since your running dsm injectors, you arent using a hondata.. are you trying to run 20 psi on a fpr or vafc hack? not to be the bearer of bad news.. but that thing sounds like a time bomb with a lit fuse.

d series sleeves can hold at least 300whp...some have held even more...as for now the afc hack will be fine..i just have to retard my timing 2degrees or so...we'll figure it out on the dyno...i have 2 expert tuners tuning my car...i trust them...as for a time bomb blah blah...the tuning will take care of that problem
