I have a 99 civic ex turbo...and i believe that i have a p28 ecu correct? and it is an obd2....should i convert it to a obd1? I was looking at phearable.net to get it chipped I am new to the whole tuning, ecu, chipping thing so i really have no idea about it and ive been reading about it and it just seems to complicated to try myself. To get my ecu chipped do i send it in? Dont laugh at me haha i really have no idea and im just trying to figure it out any help would be great thanks....oh and how would a chipped ecu work with like hondata

You don't have a P28 ecu unless you are already converted to OBD1. You need a OBD2B to OBD1 conversion harness and a chipped P28 ecu. I can help you out with both of those things.

All you have to do is chose what engine management system you want to use, hondata s200/s300, crome, neptune, uberdata. I would contact a local tuner and see what they like to tune and then have the ecu setup for that system.

If you need more info check out my site or PM me, I would be glad to help you out or answer any more questions.

You have a p2p ecu. You can order the chip with the basemap and put it in yourself, but then you still need the p28.

Just do what I did. Send him your info and get the harness and ecu together.
