got 2 things i need to figure out. Since my hatch was stolen along with the ls motor i swapped in, i decided to go turbo d. im using a d16z6 and its going to be built(low comp. pistons, rods, etc etc). My 1st question is if i should just use the ex, si tranny or should i use an lx, dx just for a longer gear ratio. My other question is since im going to be using a 14b turbo, ive been reading on the hf manifold and using an adaptor plate, but i havent seen any other manifolds i can use to mount on the d16, so basically what other manifolds can i use for the 14b to mount on the d16z6.

A 14b and low compression dont work well. The turbos too small. Use the EX transmission.

You should just drop the HF manifold and get a cast iron log manifold. It's only like 100 bucks

well what i was worrying about the hf manifold is how much power can it handle? because im aiming for 200,250whp .

Use the ex/si tranny.

You can also opt for a stainless log manifold w/ a 14B flange...or go with a T3 based turbo (Tr Super 60 .63 a/r) and have a wide variety of manifold selection.
