I would say the upper model Viper alarm to be the best...i cant remember the model number off the top of my head right now...but IMO viper is the best

compustar is a good alarm, but I am getting to like the Autopage alarms as well...

only probs w/ some of the vipers is range/sensitivity on the alarm. but they are great alarms none the less.

if it is a "6000" foot one, then thats an excellent deal.. you are going to be hard pressed to get a half mile of range out of it to be quite honest with you.....

actually the compustar range is pretty accurate. 6000 feet is over one mile. my friend has one.. in town we drove about 1 mile down and it still works. even with building in the way .. it still keeps its range.. unlike dei products or other pager system alarms. but 450 seems like a good deal with everything installed. alarm is about $250 depending on model.

I have this on my car, its okay. The range sucks but the overall alarm is good. I paid $600 installed for mine when they were brand new on the market. Hell if that one covers 6000 feet thats a good deal, so go with that one.

kewl thanx for all the info guy i will let u know how the alarm turns out. and c if i can catch the guys that did this to my car, and take pic of what i am going to do with them, lol. they won't be walking for be able to use there hands ever again
