what's it for

ok, you all know that there's an air intake tube going to the IM, but this tube has 2 openings in the bottom of it that run into a box. What is the function of this? I'm driving a canadian 2000 civic se

I'm almost certain he's talking about the OBDII O2 sensors. I could be wrong.

yea it's either the air sensors or after the box it runs into the bumper.

If that's the case the extra plastic behind the bumper is to direct air into the manifold.

yeah he is talking abou the two tubes that come from the bumper. one is for air and the other is the resonator.

na he is talking about the black plastic tube which comes from intake manifold, it has air collecting box in the end. the plastic tube has two openings, which are taking air from ze box. i guess

He said bottom boxes, so I think ^^^^^ he's right.

The other one right before the TB is on TOP of the tube, so it doesn't fit the description.
