What's my broke Civic worth?

The oil pump in my 2000 Civic Si with 129000 miles seized at highway speed
shearing the teeth of the timing belt and thus bending the valves in the head.
This has caused me to wonder what kind of money could I get on the street for it as is.
It has been lowered with the usual suspension/ intake/ exhuast mods.
I have no interest in dropping $2500 for a used engine.
I figure it was worth $2500 used but that is just Edmunds value calculator.
I know this car has a street value in it's current state that is much higher.
Like a fool I listed it on Craigslist for $500 and immediately got 60 replies. I removed the listings.

Anyone here know what I should list this at?

why would you spend 2500 on that engine? B16s are cheap

^^ What he said.

Post pics of your car and we can tell you what it's true value is. Detailed pics w/ any info you might have. If it's a true EM1 with a blown motor, the body alone is worth $2500 or more in my area. Probably in most areas of the country i'm sure. A running EM1 shows up every so often in Alaska and is usually sold in hours at a listed price of 5-6k (granted listed doesn't always = sold for). They're pretty rare unmolested. Couple of my friends have sold ITR swapped Em1's in the 8-9k range.

EDIT: Never mind what I just wrote, the car is junk. I'll give you $600 for it :thumbs up

Quote from my mechanic. I am selling it to him for $1000. It's pretty rough. Chews up tires and loud a hell. body needs work. New motor I know is $4000 B16 in my area $2500 installed. I am not a mechanic.

b16 is cheap b18 is kinda cheap b20 okay. choose and swap. I do not see the need for a sale but the need to swap in and get a more reliable/powerful engine. keep the si. but if you ask for price I would say 2500 for the si. that way you can at least get a profit even after lowballing even though I think the price should be higher for an em1.
