What's the best turbo setup for civic si?

I'm kinda on a budget (around 1500$ max maybe a lil more.)
Whats going to give me the most boost? and most quality for my money?

sounds like you need to do some research...go to www.therealhomemadeturbo.com and read through some of those articles and find out how everything works. also look into how to read compressor maps for dif turbos. that will hep you decide whats best fits your car for what you want to do with it. then from there build a kid from scratch like i said in your other post.

a good manifold is going to cost you half that

$1500 is not enough for a decent turbo setup imo. tuning alone is going to run you like $300+

typical breakdown for lowerboost turbo kit with no engine modification:

• turbo with oil lines - $300-1000+
• manifold and downpipe - $200-800
• wastegate - $100-200
• blow off valve - $150-300
• exhaust system - $300-600
• intercooler and piping - $200-300
• ecu - $150-1000+
• tuning & dyno time - $300-600

if you plan on making more than about 250whp you'll definitely be adding to the list for rebuilding the motor:

• low comp pistons - $200-500
• forged rods - $200-500
• headgasket - $100-300
• arp hardware - $100-200
• injectors - $150-500
• fuel pump - $150

im sure i left several things off the list too like bearings, water pump, gasket kits, ecu harness, etc etc etc

^+1 Going fast isnt cheap.. If you do go cheap, you wont going fast for long.. or the car moving for that matter.

a good ebay cast iron manifold will work just fine
