PO300 - random cylinder misfire.

PO301 - cylinder number 1 misfire.

PO302 - cylinder number 2 misfire.

P1399 - random cylinder misfire.

PO420 - catalyst system efficiency below threshold bank 1.

so everyone knows new ngk plugs and wires!
ive heard my distributor is bad!
ive also heard my timing is off and need a new timing belt!
but i dont like not having the exact answer cause tight on money and would hate
to get a new dizzy and not have it be that and be the timing belt or fisversa.

Reset the ECU to see whether all codes return.

P0420 (dead cat) was probably caused by random misfires on all cylinders. Start by pulling off the distributor cap and inspecting the inside of the distributor, particularly the cap and rotor contact points. If those are fine, test the coil and ICM.

First I'd pull the cap off and make sure it's clean inside. If it has lots of carbon inside the spark could be jumping to the wrong place (carbon tracking).
You'd need a timing light to check the timing.
If you didnt have the P0420 before, that "might" just be the misfire, causing unburned fuel to mess up the reading.
