Just bought some MOMO 5 star rims, suppose to be 4x100 but its not going on. Guy who sold it said it was on his past civic and everything i see says its 4x100. Dont really know much about wheels, Has "ET40" and "6.50J X 15 h2"

What's happening exactly? Is the wheel not sitting flush with the hub? Are the wheel studs not matching up to the holes on the wheel?

My guess is the center bore on the wheel is too small for the hub.

Yea its not mounting, the wheel studs arent matching up tp the bolts and im pretty positive they rnt 4x114

if the studs and holes aren't matching up, then its not the correct fit.

Sounds like you were lied to. That sucks man. If they are 4x114 they will mount on to accords and preludes.

Well by process of elimination, if they aren't lining up, they're not 4x100. And if they're 4 lug, they must be 4x114.3.

post a picture of the wheels so we can figure out what wheel you actually have and then we can see if it's even available in 4x100

Unless you Really like them I'd just sell them. They aren't worth a new set of tires to be put on.

So i think its solved with help from JohnS. Didnt know where/how to look for the problem besides wrong bolt pattern so i googled "civic center bore" and did some reading. Found out European Center bore is different so all i need are Hub rings (hopefully). Going Monday To a Tire shop to see what they can do, ill keep it updated, Thanks For all the help thus far
