it would bolt to the turbo, but it wouldn't run under the engine & connect to your exhaust. buy a turbo outlet flange and go to a muffler shop and have them bend you one. if you insist on having a mandrel bent one, buy the necessary mandrel mends and a flange, and have a muffler shop weld it up.

no. the sr20det is a rwd motor. the exhaust (and turbo) are on the drivers side in a 240. the downpipe points straight back and drops to clear the firewall. on a fwd car, the downpipe faces either right or left, then point straight down, then wraps under the oil pan, pointing a different direction than when it exited the turbo. an sr20 turbo OUTLET would bolt to the turbo, but you would still need the rest of the downpipe.

***correction***
it might, if it were designed for a fwd car. however, in all likelihood it would not be anywhere close to your factory exhaust.

any way you cut it, the fit and the price will be better having it made custom at an exhaust shop.

dude, put the flange off and have your local muffler shop fab the downpipe for you. it's the easiest, least time consuming, and possibly most economical solution. i'd rather do this than attempt to scour for parts that aren't even for our cars.

look at the prices for downpipes. id use them to make a downpipe but i cant see 250 dollars in a piece of mandrel bent piping.

its worth it, its 3" mandrel bent to the stock exhaust location. Its good quality work.

it's the least troublesome, imho. granted there are 4 or 5 exhaust shops in my neighborhood alone, i know any of them could have a pipe bent and welded in a matter of minutes.

i do suggest you shop around and ask what bending machine their shop uses. mandrel benders are obviously something to look for. if it gets too pricey or you can't find a shop with a mandrel bending machine, you could settle for a ben pearson style bender, which isn't as good, but still beats out crush bends.

i have the opposite situation, im getting a 3'' downpipe and i have a 2.5'' exhaust...i can't find a flange anywhere :( can anyone help?

as for your question, an exhaust shop can make on for you, and the link posted above is good. lots of companies male 3'' downpipes, if you don't want to have a shop make you one, do a google search for 3'' downpipe and you get will a lot, i was just searching for flanges and i found a lot of 3'' ones..
