I put mine in the defrost vent on the far left of the dash...the one that blows onto the window. That way it makes the window glow at night plus its still visable. My led flashes too to get my attention.

Naw...sorry dude. It just sits in the vent that blows on the drivers side window. Just look at the vent and imagine a blue dot in it.

a really good place to put it is in the blockoff next to your dimmer (where cc would go) and get a factory alarm LED for a 90-93 honda accord (they're a flat-top red LED cover that looks really stock.) and drill a hole and glue it from the back.

I already have CC so most of my spots are full for a light. VTech light tells you when your in VTech. And yes, mine flashes up.....but I can see it anyway even during the day.

Why would you need a VTEC Light?

I know when I am in VTEC two ways

1. My RPM is more then 5500 RPM
2. The Engine sounds different.

So i don't need a light to tell me that lol. Mind you SOHC VTEC may not have as much of a sound

i agree. SOHC VTEC has no sound, and that's why i think most singe-cam owners install a VTEC light to re-assure themselves that VTEC is even there.

I guess some of us SOHC guys are a bit more secure in our engines than others....

i put mine in front of the shifter in the cener consol.
it's out of my line of sight so it wont blind me, and my interior glows blue from 4900 rpm+
i could hear my vtec just fine on my civic, but this was an inexpensive and unintrusive mod that i thought was nifty

*EDIT** i put mine here... well kinda, mine's in the center but your ebrake lever is in the way
