Where do I start ?

I own a 1995 Honda Civic DX with the D15b7 motor and it just blew, I was wondering where I go from here, I want to start looking for a new motor soon and I don't know where to start, I want to either get a direct replacement or swap it to a k series but I do not know where to start can anyone provide me some sort of guidance. It would be greatly appreciated.

If your budget is small, direct replacement should be lowest cost. A K swap or other mods can be a costly rabbit hole.
