You get what you pay for.. So be aware. IMO real carbon fiber hoods should cost around 450 + shipped. But if you find a place selling REAL carbon fiber hoods for under 400, then let me know.
Ebay hoods are good.. if its grade A then it's good.. my friend got one for his truck..(looks nasty on the truck) but thr hood is sweet lookig.. bought it for 13 dollars and paid 150 shipping.. The fitment was perfect to..Maybr he got lucky and got a good one?

i bought my gf's fiber images hood locally.... well sorta i had to drive 2 hours each way to pick it up...
then they jacked up the price $50 when i got there, they were supposed to give me the higher grade hood with 2 layers then when i got home i found out they gave me the shitty hood that they said they didnt have in stock.... and still charged me $450...

Got my CF hood through a group buy at local shop. They collected money and went through Vis. $325 for hood + shipping + hoodpins + easy install by myself and a friend in their shop, haha. Good deal. Local shops = best.
Only problem was that Vis gave us a WHOLE TON of trouble, so the shop is now not working with Vis again, and going through Seibon. I mean, Vis has good product, but their ability to work with us and keep deadlines was CRAP. Hoods showed up like 3 months late.

punctuality is a common problem with the VIS company
Well, to make a long story short, local shop did the money order via credit card, some crazy lady at Vis wouldn't send the hoods until he showed proof he was the shop owner.
The credit card was in his + his dad's name, and he showed her tons of documentation on how him and his dad own the shop, and she kept not doing it. So they had our hoods on a freight, ready to go, but refused to ship. We had several people call Vis and let them know we were friends of the shop and customers who BOUGHT HOODS and we wanted them, so they finally got shipped.
Yeah, took a while, but whatever works. It's damn good condition though, only 2 spots, very tiny, where the weave is off.
