Which amp?

alright guys, I just bought a set of Theater Research subs and a pair of Alpine Type-R 6x9s. Here are the links to how they look and some info..

So as the title stated what kind of amp would I need to make these sound good. I'm not so good with the amps and the multi-channel stuff so all help will be appreciated...

I'm still looking for some reliable numbers on those particular subs and enclosure.

hell no i won't buy it for that much..here's the story:

It was around 12:00 when my buddy called me and asked if I wanted subs and so I went to the bank where he was at and saw them. The guy that was selling them was in a white van selling a bunch of Theater Research products for homes (surround sound) and one big ass box with those subs. He said that I could take it for 500 right there so I was like hell yea...but also thought if he was pulling something so it took me like 20 minutes to finally buy it. He also said that he sold two sets to a local dance club and that was his last one...so yeap tha's my story, but I might also want to sell them too. Only tested once to see if they work and how bad they bang..so maybe if I get a good offer I might decide to sell

my personal taste is i wouldnt by anything from pyramid and if it isnt JL Audio, Eclipse, Alpine,or Boston Acoustic i wouldnt buy it. I took first place in IASCA competition twice for my stereo.

I looked into Theater Research and everything I found reminded me of Pyramid/Legacy/Boss/Blitz....etc...

Hence the suggestion that it matched the color scheme of the enclosure.

Serisouly though, im not all about flash, when it comes to sound, i want sound. Hit up Boss, great brand, quality, and my 2000 watt can set off a car alarm from 2 blocks down on a clear day, lol, its great.
