If you could have any 92-95 civic, which one would you get?
I think I'd get a 95 hatch. cx or vx because I'd put a swap in it anyway.

the reason I'd go with a hatch is because I would keep my coupe so I'd have both. which is what I plan to do down the road.

It says in the civic specs that the CX and VX both weigh 2055, but 2098 is correct, it says on the GVWR sticker in my door.

ummm, first of all cx is not wired for v-tech, if u go for a swap ur gunna have to wire it and thats not easy to do, second of all the vx and cx would both require rear mound swaps because the stock mounds on them will not support a b series motor, again this will cost more money and will be harder to do. The si on the other hand is already wired for v-tech, and b series motors are drop ins, meaning no additional work is required for the swap. yea the vx and cx are lighter but by about 200 pounds which really doens't make much of a difference, and your wasteing more time and money swaping in a cx or vx

Just get the best deal you can find! Who cares if one weighs almost nothing more than the other. You can always take off some weight!

if you want to race and have a jellybeen go for a vx it is stripped down but it has vtec true the si has disc brakes and that is nice, trust me i changed my drums to disc and i have had them freeze on me some other problems... i belive that the si has the same motor as the ex so i would go with a 94-95 ex vx i like a coupe myself that is my favorite style jelleybeans are for real hardcore racers(this is just my opinion so dont give me crap for any of this)
